Art with Children

This offer is designated for children from the age of 6, who want to know more about art. The focus lies on single artists, artworks, art institutions and artistic techniques. The kid’s atelier offers the best conditions for getting creative. The workshops takes place every Wednesday at 3 pm. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 10 children. Family Sunday

Art is for everyone - no matter the age. On the Family Sunday, children from the age of 6 can get really close to the museum’s works of art. They can talk about them, develop their own ideas and become creative in the kid’s atelier. At the same time, adults can take part in a guided tour.

...and for the older ones

Apart from the mentioned activities for children and families, there are also interesting tours and talks for adolescents and adults. Topics are tours through the Kunstmuseum`s expositions, but also events like screenings, talks about art or thematic projects in cooperation with schools and other institutions.
Tours, explaining the history of the Romanesque monastery, are also an important part of the educational work in the Kunstmuseum.
