MUSEUM

In the middle of the state capital Magdeburg is the art museum Kloster Unser Lieben Frauen, the oldest surviving building in Magdeburg and at the same time the most important place for contemporary art and sculpture in Saxony-Anhalt. The architecture and history of the building reflect in a way the eventful history of the town, which has been shaped by prosperity, destruction and the will to rebuild.
